- the uk has voted to leave the european union for a lot of reasons but the main being xenophobia and immigration laws against refuges
- the uk has been governed by the european union up until now – because they don’t have their own constitution or bill of rights or anything of the sort, they’ve been dependent on the EU for guidance
- by leaving, the uk is no longer under any trade laws, union agreements, any sort of legislation or statue or agreement which is just…yikes
- the pound has dropped to its lowest value in over 35 years and the world economy is in flux by the upset
- scotland voted to remain in the EU so like yikes part two
- basically: @britian wyd
The majority voting leave are over 50+, whereas the majority of people aged 18 - 30 are voting remain. We’ve lost the control over our own future. The people who voted leave are probably gonna be dead within the next 30 years, whereas we have a whole lifetime plus future generations will have to deal with this shit show
